Mother’s Days have been a pretty big deal around Grace for several years running. The previous three Mother’s Days have centered on our commitment to the next generation through our building project. This year’s Mother’s Day was a visual demonstration of answered prayer to our step of faith in that project as 13 sets of parents dedicated themselves to “train up their child in the way they should go.”
All along we have said this is about hearts and souls not brick and mortar. The parent dedication ceremony Sunday, served as another reminder of that as we seek to commit our selves to the Lord and do our best to see another generation rise up and experience the blessing of the Lord. During the ceremony, the parents read aloud a covenant which you can read here: Parent Dedication Day Prayer. Enjoy some pictures of the entire service from Kari Shirk!
