Last night we had the privilege of hosting H. E. Turner Inc.’s annual “Service of Remembrance.” Nearly 400 people from our community came to our church to light candles of remembrance, sing theologically rich Christmas songs, hear Scriptures read and yes, we shared the gospel with them.
The folks who come, come with heavy hearts. They have lost someone they love dearly. Most are going through their first Christmas season without their loved one. If there was ever a time people need to hear about the hope of the world, Jesus Christ, it is at a time like this.
Thank you to all who have given sacrificially to expand our ministry. Because of the vision you had for more and more people to come here and hear the gospel; we were even able to host such an event. Thank you for allowing our ministry to minister in a very real way to our community last night!
